1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Chef to the Rescue Recipe Challenge is a recipe contest, with eight
different recipe categories. Every two weeks, participants can submit recipes within a specific category
(example: your best chili recipe) for the opportunity to win a prize. Participants enter the
contest online at
http://cheftotherescue.msn.com.
The Challenge begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on February 4, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on
May 11, 2008.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Create your own unique vegetarian recipe that best fits the recipe category you are
entering. See Entry Chart below for all categories and eligible dates for entry. Recipes must be vegetarian
(meaning a meatless recipe that may contain eggs or dairy; however, no meat, fish, seafood or meat derivatives).
Recipes must include all ingredients with exact U.S. measurements and other complete directions, with all required
utensils, timing, serving amount and other relevant information. All ingredients used must be readily available.
Recipes should not include any brand-name products outside the Kellogg’s® family of products, should not include
alcohol as an ingredient and should not reference links to other Web sites for ingredients and/or preparation
instructions. Submitted recipes should not already appear in Kellogg recipe sections or have been previously
published in cookbooks, magazines or other publications. Using a Kellogg’s product does not enhance your changes of
winning.
To enter, access the Chef to the Rescue Recipe Challenge Web site online at
http://cheftotherescue.msn.com
and complete the online entry form, and then follow instructions to enter the contest.
Entries must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM (PT) of the final date listed in the Entry Chart for each
Recipe Challenge category. Maximum character counts for entry fields are as follows: Recipe Title: 50
characters maximum, Recipe Ingredients: 900 characters maximum, Recipe Instructions: 1,600 characters maximum.
Limit one (1) entry per person per Entry Period/Challenge Category. In the event of a dispute regarding
the identity of the person submitting an online entry, an entry will be deemed to have been submitted
by the Authorized Account Holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry, providing that
person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. “Authorized Account Holder”
means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online
service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain
associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entrants may not participate with multiple e-mail addresses,
nor may entrants use any device to enter as multiple entrants. Any entrant who attempts to enter with
multiple e-mail addresses or under multiple identities will be disqualified from participation in the
Promotion and all entries submitted by that entrant will be void.
All entries must be original works; must never have been previously published; must not infringe on any third-party
rights; and may not include content that is offensive, violent, derogatory, sexually suggestive, obscene,
defamatory, or that contains explicit language or imagery or is otherwise inappropriate for publication in general
circulation. By entering the Promotion, the entrant gives Microsoft Corporation and Kellogg North America
Company (“Sponsors”) the right to use, edit or publish the entry without further compensation, and winner
assigns all rights, title and interest in the submission to the Sponsors, and, if required, will sign any
documents necessary to transfer copyright and rights of publicity. Submissions may be posted in the future
for public viewing, and by submitting your entry, you agree to allow your entry, in its entirety, to be
exhibited on the Internet and in other media, without compensation. You further agree to allow your name
and likeness to be used in connection with your entry, including exhibition on the Internet or in other
media, without compensation. All entries shall be subject to the Microsoft Service Agreement/Terms of
Use. Not all submissions will be posted. Whether a submission is posted is at the sole discretion of the
Sponsors. Sponsors are not responsible for any change of e-mail address, mailing address and/or phone
number of entrants; or for lost, late, illegible, garbled or misdirected entry materials; or for any
computer, online, telephone, human or other error; or for any technical or other malfunctions that may
occur. Entries may not be accepted if, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, an entry is mechanically
reproduced, illegible, incoherent, unusable or incomplete. Proof of submission does not constitute proof
of delivery. All information is collected in the United States of America.
